Lake Poinsett Cabin Rental ~ Area Activities

Boating, Fishing and other Water Fun

Fishing, boating, and water sports are the activities of choice at the lake.  Even if you don’t have a boat you can always fish off the dock and who knows, you may even land a state record walleye or bass. There is a sandbar straight out from the cabin that is a hotspot for Northern Pike.  Just north of that sandbar is another that is a known hotspot for walleye. For more info on fishing Lake Poinsett including a map of the lake, go to the “About the Lake” page. Don't forget your fishing pole!

Restaurants and Nightlife

There are several places to eat and enjoy a drink by the lake on the south side of Lake Poinsett.  There are docks available to take the boat to the majority of these places. The food is great and the views are even better!
